Initially, the Waterman family occupied the home before the Truax family took residence there for five decades. In 1981, Jim and Barbara Stovall took ownership of the property and transformed it into a restaurant. It was taken over by Chef Bruno Serato in 1987 and renovated again in 2017 after a fire engulfed the building. With remodeling complete, doors were opened again to lovebirds and their families in 2018.
