Stone Chapel, Pavilion, Ponds and Treehouses
The Ashby Grove is a new 24-acre Christmas tree farm under construction in north central Massachusetts. We purchased the land in 2020, have permitted it in 2021, logged it in 2022, and excavated, graded and dug our ponds in 2023. We are now doing the physical construction of the chapel, pavilion and treehouses, in that order and will be officially open July 1, 2024. We are accepting reservations for weddings beginning July 1, 2024. We have a gorgeous farm being developed and built from the ground up for people who want come to the farm and have awesome rustic, rural experiences. We will have activities, accommodations and concierge services from The Ashby Grove that will meet every need. We have two venues; The Juliette (our north venue), and The Romeo (our south venue) as well as (3) treehouses expected to be completed by July 1, 2024. Some of our experiences are: 1. Plant your first Christmas tree together on our farm and come back 8 years later on your anniversary year and enjoy it at Christmas time. 2. Arrive to your wedding ceremony in a horse drawn wedding carriage. 3. Drive around the farm in a golf cart. 4. Play 9-holes of Putter's Golf. (we have full size greens and full size equipment is provided). 5. Arrive to the farm and be greeted by someone who comes out of a guard shack to greet you, give you and your guest maps of the farm and helps them find parking. 6. Use your helicopter to travel to the farm for your event; land on our helipad and park while here. 7. Hike over the 24 acres of land to get your heart rate going. No need to travel in your auto to find stuff for you or your guests to enjoy. 8. Get lost on our property and find one of our (10) Emergency callboxes, each equipped with a Ring Doorbell camera, which will dial the main farm number when the button is pushed to summons help. 9. Hang out next to the pond, in our white cloth draped pergola with outdoor furniture, firepit, and have the dance of the water in the fountain in the background to set the mood for the conversation. 10. Enjoy S'mores around the large firepit while Pops tells his version of events on our past celebrations. 11. Take your sweetie to the stone grotto where you can enjoy the ambiance of a jacuzzie, boulders, waterfall and soft music playing to set the mood. We provide the space, you must provide everything else. 12. Ring the chapel bell after getting married to signify to the surrounding 10 miles that you have just married the love of your life and you are proud to tell everyone.
