Mt. Washington Mill Dye House is a repurposed 19th-century cotton mill located in Baltimore, Maryland. This venue offers over 5,000 square feet of space and exterior plazas, blending the history of this building with modern architecture. You can look forward to the authentic wood beams, multi-pane windows, exposed brick, and distressed concrete floors to bring you back to the 1800s with this venue. Facilities And Capacity Mt. Washington Mill Dye House accommodates a maximum capacity of 200-400 guests, depending on the layout you choose. This is an indoor and outdoor event space of 5,000 square feet in three separate areas. These three areas are the Dye House I & II, and the Cocktail Room. Dye House I and II can host 200 guests for a seated dinner and use of an outdoor terrace. The Cocktail Room is a smaller, personal, more intimate setting that can seat up to 100 guests. Use of all three of these spaces can accommodate up to 400 guests for a standing reception. The brick and paved courtyard is a charming area for guests to mingle. Washington Mill Dye House. History Mt. Washington Mill was built in 1810, and is the earliest surviving cotton textile plant in Maryland. It is the third oldest water-powered cotton mill in the U.S. The Dye House started in 1850 and was operated as a cotton mill until 1923.
