Originally built in 1871, the barns at Bridgeport Ranch facilitated the supply of hay to livestock in the nearby gold mining town of Bodie. Today, Bodie is a ghost town; but the barns remain an integral part of the venue’s charm. Here, you and your guests can be a part of history as you look forward to your future and the many wonderful adventures it holds in store. Bridgeport Ranch Barns & Terrace hosts engagement parties, showers, rehearsal dinners, wedding ceremonies, receptions, elopements, and vow renewal ceremonies. The venue offers outdoor seating for up to 250 guests. Your rental includes a selection of decorative items; tables and chairs; a BBQ grill; a raised stone fire pit; and more. Optional extras include glassware, space heaters, a PA system, and a horse-drawn carriage. A private get-ready room is available on the second floor of the barn.
