The Skeleton Root is a working winery located in a historic industrial building in the northern part of Over the Rhine in downtown Cincinnati. Originally constructed in the early 1900’s, the space still honors its industrial roots with exposed brick and concrete throughout. Now repurposed to support winery functions you can experience classically inspired wine-making in the heart of the Cincinnati. With a passion to bring wine-making back to its urban roots, The Skeleton Root honors the deep wine making heritage of Cincinnati - the largest wine region in the US during the mid 1800s. Our unique spaces offer a one of a kind setting for wedding ceremonies and receptions, rehearsal dinners, and showers. We can support small to medium group sizes, up to 100 guests.
