CLE Urban Winery is a working winery and tasting room in chic, urban setting of Cleveland Heights, OH. The Tasting Room is the ideal location to host a small wedding, shower, reception or rehearsal dinner. Couples will love the venue’s industrial vibe, adaptability and central location just minutes from downtown. Owner Destiny Burns believes that wineries can be hip, fun, and most of all accessible. Placing her faith in Ohio wine, she founded CLE Urban Winery with the mission of rethinking the wine game. Taking inspiration from the craft-brewing scene, her team handcrafts its own high-quality vintages right inside the city limits. The winemakers use only the finest American juices in creating their wines, which are then branded with imagery of the city of Cleveland. The winery has community at its heart and invites couples to join the family by hosting part of their special day in its Tasting Room. The space is effortlessly cool, with exposed brickwork, graffiti and girders meeting refined decorative elements and a characterful mural. Guests will love this tone of industrial chic as they mingle and toast to your love with a glass of Cleveland’s finest wine. The space is unobtrusive and welcoming, and encourages couples to create a tone and aesthetic all of their own when decorating. Its garage doors can be opened to grant parties a breath of fresh air when the weather is nice. The wine production area and its equipment are visible behind a large pane of glass, allowing guests to gain an insight into the beverage they are enjoying. The venue is a truly distinct offering and will have wedding-goers singing the praises of Ohio wines. In addition to the wines produced onsite, the winery also features a craft beer selection and can accommodate special orders of sparkling wine, beer and spirits for your special event! The CLE Urban Winery Staff is proud to welcome couples to their micro-winery. The team can help set up the space to suit couples’ needs and is able to provide extra tables and chairs. For our post COVID-19 environment, couples can reserve the full property for an event of up to 50 guests with appropriate social distancing of seating for all guests. The winery's preferred caterer is Zack Bruell Events, but they are happy to welcome and work with other outside caterers and vendors, and encourage you to make the space your own for your special day! We care deeply about you and your health and safety, so we have installed an Ultraviolet Germicidal Air Purifier in our Tasting Room ventilation system. This system treats the inside air to remove viruses, allergens, bacteria and mold from the air. This non-chemical application is deadly to micro-organisms exposed to the UV light rays, ensuring air is treated before being released into the room. Our Tasting Room also has a high-efficiency ventilation system for exhaust air, which ensures our air circulates and stays fresh and clean.
