This 23-story building dates back to 1926, and was formerly the home of the Post Dispatch Building. It reopened as a modern boutique hotel in 2003 after a thorough renovation, while retaining its signature charm and elegance. The property is partnered with Marriott Hotels, coupling the benefits of the hotel group with the individuality of a boutique hotel. This venue is conveniently located near Minute Maid Park in downtown Houston. Host your ceremony and reception in the sophisticated Magnolia Ballroom. The ballroom's neutral color palette allows couples to transform the space with flowers, decor, and colorful lighting. Up to 300 guests can be seated in the ballroom for a ceremony and 150 for reception. A more casual space, perfect for catching up with loved ones, is offered in the Magnolia Lounge. It has roughly 6,000 square feet of space that can accommodate up to 200 guests. In the Sterling Ballroom, floor-to-ceiling windows will allow you to immerse yourself in the buzz of the city. It can accommodate up to 120 guests. At The Magnolia Hotel, you'll get to work closely with the in-house events director, Kiana White. She'll be on hand to help you make your wedding dreams a reality, whatever your vision might be.
