Jewish and Interfaith Wedding Ceremonies
Jewish and Interfaith Wedding CeremoniesChoose Cantor Marc to brighten your wedding ceremony with warmth, spiritual "gravitas", and light-hearted humor. Rich, bass-baritone singing and chanting, accompanied by keyboards and flute, make your wedding ceremony truly beautiful and unique. "Every couple, every family, every group of friends is unique." Cantor Marc loves connecting with you and crafting a joyous celebration of marriage -- an intimate sacred space filled with love, gratitude, and heartfelt emotions. Cantor Marc makes sure everyone understands all the ritual elements and language that you pick for your ceremony. Everyone is made to feel welcome and included. Some wedding parties even join him during the closing benediction, raising their hands together in the ancient Rabbinical Blessing (now universally known as The Vulcan Salute- "Live Long and Prosper!"). For 40 years, Cantor Marc has officiated in Southern California synagogues and at private ceremonies from Kauai to Cabo, and Malibu to Manhattan. He has served as the spiritual leader of Makom Ohr Shalom, an Encino synagogue. Cantor Marc has co-officiated interfaith ceremonies with priests, ministers, Buddhist monks, and kahuna shamans! His 8 years as the host and producer of his own Los Angeles afternoon radio talk shows, and his ongoing voice-over work in recording studios are the reason he smiles appreciatively when wedding guests thank him after the ceremony, exclaiming "You Should Be on the RADIO with that Voice!" Cantor Marc's secular performing careers as a Comedy Hypnotist and a Musical Entertainer in venues all over the world, along with his private practice in hypnotherapy, have more than prepared him to deal calmly and creatively with any "surprise" at a wedding ... from the smallest glitch or gust of wind, to (G-d Forbid!) life-threatening emergencies.
