Elevate your wedding. Have it take place in a beautiful, uplifting setting like the Blue Ridge Mountains of Shenandoah National Park. With a serene, scenic national park as the backdrop, and the highest level of service, hosting your wedding at Skyland will make your special day memorable for you and your guests. Skyland is located at the highest point of elevation along Skyline Drive and is a seasonal property open from early April through November. There are wide open spaces for the ceremony and a beautiful historic conference building with covered porch for the reception up to 100 guests. Big Meadows Lodge - located 9 miles south of Skyland - is open from late April through early November. Ceremonies are held on the main lodge terrace with a valley view. The Massanutten banquet room accommodates up to 64 guests. The rental fee for the banquet rooms varies depending on the date and season and includes set-up of tables & chairs, white tablecloths & napkins. Table and room decorations are the responsibility of the wedding party. The per person cost of a reception can range from $40-120 per person based on the items requested and whether you have a hosted or cash bar. With the exception of a wedding cake, all food and beverages are catered by Skyland and Big Meadows Lodge. No other outside food is permitted to be brought in. Room accommodations rates range from $146 to $285 based on room type. The majority of rooms at Skyland are Premium and Preferred room types which have either one king or two queen beds, private bath, AC, TV, and a patio or balcony. Big Meadows rooms are preferred and traditional room types. Preferred have either one king or two queen beds, private bath, TV and a patio or balcony. King bedded rooms have a wood burning fireplace. Queen bedded rooms have AC. We have a limited number of traditional rooms with two double beds and private bath. Rates are subject to current taxes and fees.
