A True Lowcountry ExperienceGrace & Grit is a locally owned and operated restaurant located in Mount Pleasant, SC that hosts pre-wedding celebrations such as parties, showers, luncheons and rehearsal dinners. Located right over the bridge from downtown Charleston with ample onsite parking, Grace & Grit also offers a centrally located event space, perfect for the ease of you and your guests. Driven by a passion for the local seafood community and the rich history of the Lowcountry, chef/owner & Mt. Pleasant native, Frank Kline opened Grace & Grit in 2017. Joined by his wife Eli, she personally oversees all private events and is there to guide and assist with every aspect of your event, from planning the details to setup and breakdown. Together, with their team, they offer a relaxed and inviting atmosphere with exceptional food, drink and service and a menu that focuses on fresh, local seafood, produce and Southern staples. From their local shrimp & grits voted “Best in Charleston” in 2023, to cocktails from Charleston's largest bourbon bar, come relax and treat your guests to a delicious meal fit for all occasions! Grace & Grit offers a selection of event spaces and menu options for you to choose from for both day and evening events. For an intimate gathering, The Harbor Room can seat up to 25 for a seated dinner or luncheon. It is a beautiful, light-filled space that features a floor-to-ceiling glass wall that overlooks the patio. Charming and stylish, this coastal-inspired event space features historic maps and white-washed walls that add character to the room. The Camellia Room, a beautiful, newly renovated space that's slightly larger, is a truly private space with its own private entrance and attached patio, allowing guests the perfect amount of space for both dining and mingling. This room offers a charming & refined coastal atmosphere, complete with its own onsite bar, and can accommodate groups for a seated dinner for 25, or buffets with onsite bar for up to 55 guests. Dressed with linens and florals, or left natural with its reclaimed wood & marble tables and tasteful southern charm, The Camellia Room is sure to please with its ability to transform and adapt to multiple styles of events and tastes.
