This tranquil oasis sits in the heart of Midtown Manhattan and is one of the most idyllic locations in New York City. Whether sipping cocktails as our sea lions glide gracefully through the water or strolling through our lush gardens taking in the elegant architecture, you and your guests will be inspired by the exotic wildlife and breathtaking city skyline views. A unique, outdoor event space that is perfect for both ceremony and reception. The open space provides flexibility to accommodate a variety of event layouts. A nearly 200’ long, clear-top seasonal tent is included in the site fee, with options to add-on connecting tents for those events with larger guest counts; up to 700-seated. The moss-covered colonnades also provide for additional covered space, as well as a tranquil backdrop to any photo. The Central Park Zoo is much more than just a zoo, it’s a premier event location! The Events and Catering Department of the New York Zoos & Aquarium do allow outside catering at this location. Central Park Zoo’s site rental fees start at $20,000 and do not include exhibits, rentals, catering, or lighting. Exclusive, after-hours access to exhibits is available, based on sunset times; starting at $5,000 per exhibit.
