Katherine began working in the industry in 2016, where she developed a genuine love for weddings while simultaneously hoping to carve out a career as a self-employed event planner. When she graduated with a degree in hospitality management in 2019, Katherine felt it was the perfect time to put her plan into action, and thus, the idea for El’Event Weddings was born. Katherine and her team love nothing more than brainstorming and collaborating with prospective newlyweds to help achieve their dream wedding experience. She is happy to offer planning services for a range of events such as engagement parties, couples showers, and post-wedding celebrations. She can also facilitate events located anywhere within the state of Chicago. Katherine Santos sees herself as a one-stop shop for all your event needs, providing complete and partial planning services along with day-of coordination. She begins each experience with an indepth and complimentary consultation, in person or via video call. From there, she will personalize a wedding package to best suit your desired event theme and size. Her full coordination package features services such as budget analysis, venue selection, and rehearsal planning, along with logistics and vendor management. This comprehensive package also contains up to 10 hours of dedicated day-of coordination. Katherine’s partial and day-of coordination services include 3-5 meetings before the big day, a venue visit, timeline building, logistics, and vendor management. Katherine Santos and her team at El’Event Weddings can also offer planning services for destination weddings, arranging milestone events in Mexico and the sun-soaked Caribbean Islands.
