Historical Mansion Teaming with Charm
Located in Redmond, WA, Clise Mansion is a historic mansion wedding venue. Situated in the Marymoor Park area of King County, this unique destination is an ideal spot for any celebration. Beginning life as a hunting lodge, this building found new life through architect Max Umbrech, who designed the 28-room mansion. The interior of Clise Mansion features a great room, a library, a veranda, and several other spaces. There is also a spacious inlaid brick courtyard, which is ideal for hosting celebrations in the open air. Outside, the manicured landscape reflects the style of the respected Olmstead Brothers, a well-renowned landscape architecture firm. Across its lawns, many romantic elements dot the property, including flowering trellises, gardens, and perennial beds. The Clise family transitioned from holding occasional residence there to living at the mansion full-time. After settling in, the family built structures to house their Morgan horses and Scottish Ayrshire cattle. At this point, the focus of the home was to act as a farm, where many facilities expanded on the concept. These include a greenhouse, creamery, dog shelter, goose pond, and duck yard. Alongside these facilities is a narrow-gauge railroad and a beautiful windmill. In 1917, Anna and James Clise sold the farm in their old age. After another half a century, the property came under the ownership of King County and was turned into a public park. Up to 200 of your closest loved ones can enjoy an occasion held at Clise Mansion. This can be accommodated in a variety of setups, and smaller functions are welcome to utlize cozier sections if they please. Rental periods can start as early at seven in the morning and run as late as midnight. If using in-house tables and chairs, they will be prepared before you arrive, and Clise Mansion is pleased to provide its own alcohol for celebratory functions.
