Brakefield at Riverwalk is located right along the Catawba River. Your wedding day will be surrounded by the peaceful and picturesque views the river has to offer. The European designed manor house has a grey stone and stucco façade adorned with flickering gas lanterns, and a rich Knotty Alder double entry door. Soaring spired roofs and a turret add to the aesthetic of the Brakefield facility. Inside, you’ll find an ample entry hall with natural slate floors and, beautiful baroque lighting. We offer Dual Bridal Suites, one for hair, makeup and dressing and for beautiful photo ops within this turreted room boasting 20 foot high ceiling surrounded by windows. It has a large, private restroom. On the same wing is a bridal lounge with comfortable seating, TV, grand mirror and another large restroom. The grooms quarters is in an amazing space called the Carriage House with masculine décor and a deck overlooking the Catawba River. There is a multipurpose Green Room on the Bridal wing that can be used for additional bridal space or for the planner or coordinator or just storage of décor packaging. The nearly 3,000 square foot Grand Hall is perfect for grand receptions or more formal corporate events. From the Grand Hall, five sets of eight foot French doors lead to the 1200 square foot covered patio, great for more intimate gatherings and special occasions. The breathtaking grounds at Brakefield include a back lawn overlooking the beautiful Catawba River for amazing photographic opportunities. The ceremony site is on the rear lawn overlooking the river and is a magnificent view and location for photography. We look forward to meeting with you!
