Urban Solace Catering was born from the long-standing dream of Chef Matt Gordan and catering entrepreneur Lisa Richards. After Chef Matt received numerous catering requests from patrons of his restaurants, he got in touch with his long-time business partner to form a collaboration. Since 2016, Lisa and Matt have combined their talents and expertise to cater weddings, birthday parties, and corporate functions of all sizes and styles. Urban Solace Catering boasts an extensive menu that rotates seasonally. Catering options include tray passed hors d’oeuvres, buffet style, stations, and plated entrees. In all his dishes, Chef Matt is passionate about using all-natural ingredients that are sourced responsibly. He buys his salmon from one Alaskan fisherman, makes soda with pure cane sugar, and uses vegan Worcestershire, handmade artisan cheeses, and ethically raised meats. This chef spent a year creating the recipes that feature these fresh ingredients and is proud of the quality of the food he offers.
