La Mar Weddings
La Mar is a stunning, historic setting to host a private event with an added Peruvian flare. Guests enter the restaurant through the iconic Pier 1 ½ lobby to find multiple lounges, an expansive dining room and a waterfront patio overlooking the Bay. The Waterfront Patio is the perfect setting for a wedding reception or rehearsal dinner. It can be fully enclosed with clear side panels at the push of a button. The stunning view is never compromised, regardless of the weather and our existing heat lamps provide a comfortable setting year-round. The Patio can be fully customized to exceed your expectations. Once the old ticket office to the Piers, the historic City Room sits along the Embarcadero on the left-hand side of the entrance to La Mar, offering casual cocktail receptions to a formal seated dinner. With oversized windows overlooking SF’s Financial District, the fully private space also carries its own optional entryway, exit, powder room, and coat check. We offer your choice of long rectangles or round table seating formats, to best adapt to the environment you are looking to provide for your event. Full A/V capabilities also available upon request.
