A newly restored 1920s landmark on the beach
The Cabrillo Pavilion is a historic, city-owned venue situated on the sands of East Beach in Santa Barbara. The newly renovated 1920s landmark boasts a luxe art deco-inspired design and is the ideal place for those looking to exchange their vows on the sand before hosting an indoor reception. The venue maintains three distinct event spaces for couples and their guests to enjoy during their special day: the lounge, the main room, and the two outdoor terraces. Guests can enter through the lounge, featuring a functional fireplace and conversational seating. This is the perfect space to host a cocktail reception following your beach ceremony. From the lounge, guests are led into the main room, characterized by its vaulted ceilings, striking archways, and panoramic ocean views. Along either side of the main room are two outdoor terraces perched above the beach, providing the perfect place to watch a Santa Barbara sunset. In addition to the event spaces, the venue also includes a full prep kitchen, scullery, dedicated guest restrooms, and two additional small rooms that can be used for the day's preparations as needed. Couples hosting their wedding at the Cabrillo Pavilion are welcome to use the venue's event furniture, including round tables, banquet tables, cocktail tables, mobile bar, and dance floor. Guests are also welcome to use the venue's audio-visual equipment, including a large projection screen, mobile projector, and wireless microphones. Couples are not limited to a set vendor list and can work with the vendors of their choosing to create their special day.
