Vintage With a View
The Ivey House is a classic farmhouse venue located in Seymour, TN. Tucked away in the Great Smoky Mountains, this idyllic wedding getaway is nestled conveniently near Knoxville and Gatlinburg. The property boasts a stately Folk-Victorian farmhouse and a spacious & enclosed pavilion that provides a picturesque backdrop for celebrations. In addition, there is a ceremony area situated in a natural setting surrounded by trees, friendly wildlife and the sounds of nature! The Ivey House features several picturesque event spaces throughout the property. For small ceremonies, you can utilize the house for your nuptials. The house dates back to the late 1800s when it was built for the Headrick family. The Riggs/Ivey family purchased it in 1934 before its current owners, the Brackins family, purchased it in 2019. They renovated the historic home to share its beauty with couples getting married. Aside from the 2,600-square-foot house, the property also features a natural spring and corn crib, adding to its pastoral charm. The Ivey House can accommodate up to 150 of your loved ones. The outdoor pavilion offers a covered space with enough room for dining and dancing, as well as views of the rolling mountains. Before the reception, you and your partner can exchange vows at the scenic outdoor ceremony space. There are also separate get-ready suites if you prefer not to see your soon-to-be spouse before the ceremony. The venue is available for daily or weekend-long rentals, which includes overnight accommodations the night before the wedding.
