Historic Steam Plant Venue
Built in 1916 and operational until 1986, the Steam Plant supplied heating to over 300 customers in the downtown Spokane corridor. The historic building was completely renovated in 1996 (after sitting dormant for ten years), and turned into a one-of-a-kind restaurant and event center! The Steam Plant features a restaurant, bar, and several unique event spaces. This amazing venue can accommodate bridal showers, bachelor parties, rehearsal dinners, ceremonies and receptions. Small private dining rooms including the Pipe Room and Boiler Room can accommodate up to 24 guests for intimate dinner gatherings. The Wine Cellar is a split-level space with casual couch seating on the upper floor with the lower level accommodating up to 26 guests and up to 30 for a reception style event. Additionally, the Stacks room has a water feature and a private entrance into the base of one of the smokestacks. This space can accommodate up to 44 guests for a seated meal and 60 for a reception style event. The newly added Game Room features a shuffleboard, built in screen, two game simulators (with games such as golf, soccer, football, hunting, zombie dodgeball and more). The Game Room space can accommodate groups up to 45 guests for a seated meal and 60 for a reception. The enclosed Rooftop event space features two outdoor patios, skylight views of the Stacks, a bridal ready room, house sound system, and a built in bar. The Rooftop can accommodate seated dinners up to 120 and receptions up to 168. The north patio space can accommodate wedding ceremonies up to 80 guests. Our Stacks Room (located in the historic Steam Plant), can accommodate a ceremony up to 100 with guests proceeding up to the Rooftop for reception. The Steam Plant is the exclusive caterer for the venue. A fully stocked bar can be set in any of the event spaces, and you may choose to host beverages or have guests pay on own.
