Hello from Long Cove Sea Farm, located in Deer Isle - Stonington, ME! We are a woman-owned, Maine oyster farm. We hand-harvest fresh oysters daily from spring through early winter. Our oysters grow in the productive and cold waters of Long Cove, Deer Isle, Maine. Located in Penobscot Bay, the cove has a longstanding history of seafood harvesting, and today is part of our island's working waterfront. Long Cove strives to reduce environmental impacts in every facet of our business and to improve the water quality and general health in local waters. One of our goals is to increase access to locally grown, sustainable seafood. We strive to reduce plastic in every step of oyster cultivation and sales. Nothing enhances a special occasion like a raw bar! Our mobile raw bar brings the Maine ocean to you. Our cocktail-sized oysters are impeccably shucked by knowledgeable and friendly staff. Our raw bar is completely self-contained, and we will take care of all set-up and breakdown of our station. We provide a beautiful presentation of oysters on ice and seaweed for your guests to slurp at their leisure. Additionally, we offer lemons, hot sauce, and a signature mignonette (vinegar-based sauce) for your memorable day. The oyster shells are removed and recycled responsibly.
