Marcello's Restaurant is a restaurant venue that hosts weddings, rehearsal dinners, bridal showers and more, located in Suffern, New York. This business is owned and operated by Marcello Russodivito, an acclaimed chef with over a quarter of a century of experience in the industry. Chef Marcello's distinctive venue offers newlyweds-to-be and their guests a mix of delectable cuisine, fine wines and superb service. Chef Marcello was born and raised in Campobasso, Italy, a land renowned for its exquisite fare. He had his first taste of restaurant life at the age of 13, before going on to study in Tuscany. Chef Marcello then spent time traveling across the globe to perfect his craft, before coming to New York and launching his first restaurant in 1986. Chef Marcello has since participated in numerous television shows and films, and released his own cookbook. His restaurant offers an intimate ambiance, with dark wood furniture and lanterns that softly illuminate the room. The walls feature a gorgeous mural of the countryside and are lined with a carefully curated selection of vintage wines. The venue also contains a gorgeous ballroom-style space, featuring wooden falls and a grand piano. Marcello's Restaurant can accommodate up to 100 people and caters to both pre and post-nuptial events in addition to receptions. This includes engagement celebrations, showers, bachelor and bachelorette parties, and rehearsal dinners, as well as after-parties and brunches. For those who love to cook, Chef Marcello offers culinary classes, as well as private dinners in the state-of-the-art kitchen, allowing visitors to see him at work. Couples can select from a range of package options, depending on the number of courses they wish to indulge in. Menus emulate a traditional Italian style, with antipasto boards and pasta to start, followed by leafy green salads and a selection of fresh meat and fish. A selection of desserts is available, as well as beverage packages with wines, beers, and liquors to set off the carefully selected dishes. Marcello's restaurant also offers hors 'd'oeuvres for cocktail hours, with options such as seared tuna with spicy sauce, bacon scallops and beef tartare.
