Happily Ever After Begins Here
Fleur de Lis Chapel is a church ceremony only venue nestled on a quiet tree-lined street in Upland, CA. Originally built in 1910, this property is recognized as a California State Historic building and was opened for weddings in 1993. The non-denominational chapel features a wood-shingled exterior and impressive bell tower, while its elegantly minimalist interior is furnished with vintage touches. Set back from the road, this venue provides a serene and sophisticated setting for intimate weddings. When you enter Fleur de Lis Chapel, your eyes will be drawn to the high, vaulted ceilings, from which sparkles an antique crystal chandelier. Below the rustic wood rafters sit rows of rich oak pews, a stage, and an altar, where you and your partner can tie say yes ai. As you recite your vows, you will be watched over by three stained glass windows. These stunning windows feature a cross and fleur de lis which float above a turquoise ocean. To add to the retro and romantic atmosphere, the sanctuary has been decorated with a number of period pieces. These include a marble-topped mahogany hutch, an antique communion table, and a wrought iron kneeler. Fleur de Lis Chapel offers a number of all-inclusive packages that are tailored to suit both intimate affairs and larger soirees. The most comprehensive of these is the Our Heart’s Desire, which comes with two and a half hours of exclusive use of the venue. With this option you will also receive a one-hour rehearsal, clergy for the ceremony, and a harpist. All packages come with pew candles, chiffon accents, altar florals, a white aisle runner, a unity candle stand, a wrought iron podium, and an easel. Also included are access to two dressing rooms, a sound system, and an event director for the big day. As you and your new spouse exit the church, the bell from the USS Mattaponi, on loan in the bell tower, will dole out. This sound will signal your new beginning and welcome you to the next chapter of your life together.
