Nestled in Northern New Jersey, Stumpy's Hatchet House of Upper Saddle River (USR) is the largest axe throwing venue in the U.S (over 14,000 sq feet)! Convenient to all of New Jersey and the Hudson Valley, Stumpy's USR is 30 minutes to NYC or Newark Airport and less than an hour to all major NYC airports (JFK/LGA). Onsite small business owners take pride in welcoming couples of all backgrounds for any memorable event in our spacious, indoor "County Fair" style retreat. Stumpy's USR is the perfect place to hold Bachelor/Bachelorette parties, "Welcome" gatherings, day-after themed brunch, or memorable adventure engagements. Stumpy's brings people together with an out-of-the-ordinary sport to create memories! We have fifteen spacious lounge-style throwing pits, including a private VIP pit room. Regardless of age or skill, our helpful throwing coaches make everyone throw like a Viking. The main floor is approximately 10,000 dividable sq. ft. featuring an abundance of lounge areas and leisure amenities. Featuring an Official 35' Street Curling Pro Rink, Devils vs. Rangers bubble hockey, photo booth, oversized Jenga sets, giant Connect 4's, ping pong, corn-hole, and eight television screens. We can accommodate up to 300 attendees. Our indoor "beer garden" vibe is BYOB (beer, wine, hard seltzers, etc. - no hard alcohol), making Stumpy's USR an affordable, woodsy destination-style venue.
